In January of 2016 I launched a podcast:
It was a podcast to support the growth of online marketplace: Virtual Valley.
Long story short, we did sell the online marketplace… but not for $4m.
However, one of the biggest gifts from that experience was the process of recording and distributing a daily podcast that detailed the growth of the business.
I forged long term relationships with investors, partners and employees through the podcast experience.
And as we now embark upon a journey of similar magnitude, I’m turning my focus back to podcasting.
Why is it that some B2B SaaS or agencies seem to grow seamlessly whilst others struggle to find customers/clients?
This is the question I want to answer.
Over the past six years I have built:
- Three agencies
- Two eCom stores
- Two SaaS businesses
- One online marketplace
- Held down a position as Head Of Demand Generation at a large B2B SaaS business
And I am just starting to think that I’m learning a few things about this whole B2B marketing thing.
You may also be aware that I currently run:
- SaaS Marketer – Weekly, actionable SaaS content and a specific SaaS growth agency
- bCast – B2B podcast hosting
I am therefore returning to the podcasting game with something bigger, better and more honest than the original $0-4m podcast from 2016.
I’m going to be pulling back the curtain to show you how SaaS Marketer and bCast are growing (or not!), whilst bringing in some of the biggest and best B2B marketing minds in the world to also share their insight.
We will be joined by:
- B2B Marketers from businesses such as: HubSpot, Ahrefs and Outreach
- The entrepreneurs and business owners we interact with each week: clients, customers, investors and partners
- People within my life that are closer to that action: girlfriend, business partner and puppy Bear
I’m not entirely sure how these businesses and this podcast will turn out, but I am sure it’s going to be an interesting ride.
